Rendered in stark black and aged cream, the scene captures the isolation, scale and desolation at the heart of Shelley’s story.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally created as part of my visual interpretation of \u003cem\u003eFrankenstein\u003c\/em\u003e, the illustration has now been transformed from the pages of the novel into an oversized piece of \u003cstrong\u003ewoven textile art\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRather than simply being printed onto fabric, the artwork is recreated using \u003cstrong\u003ecoloured woven cotton threads\u003c\/strong\u003e.
