Inspired by gothic horror, traditional printmaking, old woodcuts and creatures of the night, the design features a snarling bat emerging from a deep blood-red background in burnt orange, black and golden tones. Woven fringe around the edges gives the finished piece an old-world, almost antique textile feel.

Unlike a standard printed wall tapestry, the artwork is created using coloured woven cotton threads, giving the illustration real texture and character. The nature of the weaving beautifully complements the rough, traditional printmaking qualities of the original artwork.

These tapestries are produced in the USA, making them particularly convenient for my US collectors. UK and international orders are absolutely welcome too, but please allow a little extra time for your finished tapestry to make its journey across the Atlantic.
