I first heard about Sophie’s work when I saw a video on instagram(and instantly liked her page)!…she was promoting her work on This anthology of Edgar Allan Poe’s brilliant gothic horror stories, which she hand drew illustrations for and designed the whole book herself!…I loved her expressionistic style and decided to Buy a copy off her website, and I was not disappointed!!…everything from its cover interior and the illustrations themselves were absolutely beautifully designed,and really add to the atmosphere of Poe’s work when you’re reading it, Delivery was fast and the book comes well packaged and protected!…and inside when i opened it I was really surprised to see that she added quite a few freebies With it…Art prints, stickers and bookmarks with her Art work on, I was so grateful and really happy!…I ordered the signed hardback edition, and personalised my copy by putting my stickers on the front and back interior pages of the book, its such a beautiful and unique collector’s edition of Poe’s/ Sophie’s work and definitely one you should own!…for anyone that loves gothic Horror and want to own a copy of Sophie’s hard work, you should definitely go ahead and buy a copy, you will not be disappointed!…ohh and parts of the front and back cover illustrations have been treated with special UV paint so they glow in the Dark!😮😱😍📚xx
I absolutely love it, Sophie's artworks in this book really capture the feelings of the poems, and bring them to life in an intense, unique gothic style. I highly recommend this!
I have read a lot of Edgar Allan Poe material. In some areas, it is just as good as his writing, if not better.
