Step behind the curtain with The Fool’s Omen Woven Tapestry & Throw, featuring my original illustration of a mysterious court jester conjuring something strange from the darkness.

Rendered in deep crimson, black and aged cream, The Fool’s Omen takes inspiration from medieval jesters, theatrical imagery, dark folklore and traditional printmaking. Part magician, part fool and perhaps something a little more sinister, the figure emerges from between heavy curtains with a strange glowing apparition suspended above his hand.

The original illustration is recreated using coloured woven cotton threads, transforming the artwork into an oversized piece of richly textured textile art. The woven construction adds an aged, tactile quality that works beautifully with the limited colour palette and rough printmaking texture of the original piece.

These tapestries are produced in the USA, making them particularly convenient for my US collectors. UK and international orders are absolutely welcome too, but please allow a little extra time for your finished tapestry to make its journey across the Atlantic.
