Inspired by witchcraft, European folklore, traditional woodcuts and the strange creatures associated with old folk tales, Witch’s Familiar celebrates one of the witch's more overlooked companions: the humble toad.

The original illustration is recreated using coloured woven cotton threads, transforming the artwork into a richly textured piece of textile art. Earthy greens, muted creams and warm rust tones give the finished tapestry an aged, almost storybook quality, while the woven fringe around the edges adds to its old-world feel.

These tapestries are produced in the USA, making them particularly convenient for my US collectors. UK and international orders are absolutely welcome too, but please allow a little extra time for your finished tapestry to make its journey across the Atlantic.
